One of our favorite things about summer is using our fresh basil to make pesto. Matt was so patient last weekend when both Jack and Elizabeth wanted to help him make (and sample) several batches. Our kids are usually the pickiest of eaters, but one thing they do love is daddy's pesto!

Next summer I'm doing an herb garden pretty much for pesto. I couldn't get anything going this summer--too many other things.
We had some pesto and pasta last week. Carter wasn't a fan, but Graham loved it. I,however, did not enjoy the pesto diaper that resulted the next day :)
Oh, I do love Caribou, but it's on the other side of town. Dunn Bros. is close to us, but it's not as good.
