Decorating the tree

A few pictures from the night we decorated our Christmas tree.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

My dear friend Caitlin spent Saturday afternoon decorating our house (she loves to do that kind of stuff and is so talented). Our house looks so festive now and smells like fresh evergreen. I love it!
Here are a few pictures of what she did in our Hearth room.

Hot cocoa

Jack and Elizabeth were outside with Matt on Sunday afternoon hanging lights on my Christmas trees by the front porch. They sure enjoyed the hot cocoa I had waiting for them when they came inside. It was Elizabeth's first taste of hot cocoa and she loved it!

Winter wonderland

Winter has finally arrived in Green Bay. So far at least a foot of snow has fallen, with up to 6 more inches today. We are under a blizzard warning since the winds are supposed to be around 45mph. This is the view out our front door this morning. I always think the first snow of the year is beautiful so I always take a picture, but by tomorrow I will be sick of the white stuff!

Just one more cute picture of my little sweeties since it is so rare to get them to smile together. This was taken on Elizabeth's second birthday on Sunday. I have a lot more birthday pictures to add but my bed is calling my name tonight!
